What is a 'splash page'? Look it up. Explain what they are and how they are used. Find an example of a splash page in Google Images. Save the image to you computer and then upload it to your blog post. Hint - see below.

A splash page is the front page of a website that doesn't contain the actual content, but it shows the reader what the website is about. They are usually used to draw in a potential client or they are used to advertise new products. They can also be used to display warnings, or they can allow people to chose settings. Normally, users don't like them because they can take a long time to load and they don't really have any information on them.

Read THIS blog post by a teacher. I mean actually read it. Take it in. Think about it. And then, write about it. What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is. Do you agree or disagree with the writer?

I thought the article was meant to motivate students. The teacher is trying to say that every little thing you do and don't do has some effect on your future. I may not make a difference in your grades, but it makes a difference in how you over come challenges and how you don't give up. The "main event" that is described in this article is the reality of life and how school isn't just about grades, but is about learning how to cope  with things.
